CALC #001: A Success!

A brief but heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make our first event, featuring American poet and translator Eleni Sikelianos, a warm and happy success.

We’d like to thank our partners and hosts at the Syracuse University Strasbourg Center; our sponsors at the SEARCH research group (EA 2325) from the University of Strasbourg; and fellow and supporting associations PEACE Productions, Americans in Alsace, and the English Speaking Community of Strasbourg. We are also grateful for the advice and encouragement offered by the United States Consulate General in Strasbourg. Deep thanks to Lara Delage-Toriel, who performed the texts in French, and, of course, to our guest Eleni Sikelianos.

Thanks finally to all who were able to join us, and who helped make for a convivial evening!
